Poor ol’ Sebastian. Yesterday he was begging and pleading to write a blog post. Now he says it is quite alright if I do one or two, respectfully submitting that it is my blog after all. I looked over at him and now I know why he was so generous about handing over the reins.
He is snuggled up safe and warm under the duvet and I doubt I will hear much more from him tonight. He has truly become a tired but international bear.
Today he got up really, really early and boarded the Eurostar train and travelled to Brussels, Belgium. We went with him because I wasn’t quite sure if he went alone he would come back!
We only had the one day there and mostly walked wherever our whims took us. The main site to see was the Grand’ Place and it was as amazing as the photos I have seen. Here are a few snapshots.
Hurry up and take the photo. It’s cold!
Belgium is known for its chocolate . . .
and its handmade lace. This shopkeeper was very sweet!
It is also the home of Belgium waffles. Imagine that!
Did I say it is known for its chocolate and Belgium waffles?
Lots of little alleyways and cobblestoned streets.
Oh yeah. Let’s take another look at that waffle - and it was every bit as delicious as it looks. It’ll be a long time before I get another one this good.
Well, Sebastian, How do you think it will feel to be back with the other bears every day after living such a pampered life?

Belgium is such a lovely country. I love their food markets. and the chocolate and waffles too ofcourse. Never been to Brussels - That have to go on my 'places I want to visit' list.

I hope your feet are holding out ok, also Sebastian's paws. That's a lot of globetrotting you are managing to do! :o)xx
