I’m pretty sure

that it’s time for me to pop these babies out of their boxes and toss them on the tree. Well, perhaps toss isn’t the exact word. No, I’m fairly certain that these shouldn’t be tossed. Not tossed or flung or lobbed.

I think they should be gently put, placed or positioned. Hung or even dangled. I’m ready for tinsel and lights and music and twinkling and twirling and dreaming and anticipation!

I’m not the only one with some Christmas spirit. Sebastian has secreted himself in the back room and I hear all kinds of banging and knocking. I asked him if I could help in any way but I think he saw through my generous offer. He’s up to something but he’s certainly not going to tell me what until he’s good and ready.

In the meantime, I’ve still got a few projects on the table. It’s awfully hard to concentrate with all the racket but I’m going to try. Maybe if I turn up the Christmas music it will balance things out a little.  Surely Sebastian will tell us what he’s up to soon.

Until then – May all your Christmas lights light up on the first try.

  1. Lovely glass decorations, I have a few left from 1970 (lost many due to wooden floors and exuberant dogs). We have plastic ones now because of the grandkids, who help to decorate. The few glass ones are safely packed away, but not as neatly as yours!

    1. Hi Lynda,

I love the colors of these ornaments! Not very old of course but still reminiscent of the early ones.

      Happy Christmas!

  2. Ha ha "May all your Christmas lights light up on the first try." How true that wish is. What a bother if they don't.
Sebastian, be careful, you might get the Christmas beard magic on you if you are not careful.
    Hugs
    Wilbur.

I have heard about your beard magic! That's a new one to me so I hope you've gotten it all sorted out now. Sebastian appreciates the heads up!

    1. Hi Jeanie,

I am curious too. I'm not sure whether noise or quiet is the most curious but with Sebastian is always a guessing game!

    1. Oh no! Perhaps I should throw caution to the wind?! Or ornaments to the tree? Yes, my very own personalized decorating style. You're very inventive - what else have you got up your sleeve?
